Water Damage at Local Charter School

Water damage at a local Charter School affected drywall, flooring, framing, and multiple classrooms. A rising creek nearby combined with collected rain water on the roof caused excess water to enter the building. Water was trapped between the flooring and the subfloor, and had travelled into several classrooms and resource closets.

We experienced flooding in Jacksonville Beach, thankfully SERVPRO of Jacksonville Beach/Ponte Vedra is always close-by to help our neighborhood. Unfortunately, many streets flooded and some homes got water inside. Barricades were placed in the area to reroute traffic and keep pedestrians safe.

University Auditorium Gets Flooded

A Lecture Hall at a local University got flooded when an irrigation pipe broke. Water came down the steps of the auditorium and soaked the carpet. SERVPRO of Jacksonville Beach/Ponte Vedra got them dried out in time for classes to resume. We were flexible with the University and were able to move equipment around according to their schedule.

Fire Damage at an Assisted Living Facility

A Fire Damage at an Assisted Living Facility in the San Pablo neighborhood affected multiple units on the 6th floor. Unfortunately the fire started because a box of books was accidentally left on the stove during a move. By the time the Firefighters arrived, a fire storm had engulfed the main living areas of the apartment.

A Trauma Hospital in Downtown Jacksonville had their fire suppression system accidentally go off. Unfortunately, their Proton Therapy machine was affected. SERVPRO of The Beaches/Ponte Vedra was able to dry our their sensitive equipment and have it back on and running in no time.

Upon inspection, SERVPRO of The Beaches/Ponte Vedra Estimators noticed an area of duct work had been disconnected, and cold, moist air was blowing throughout the attic of this Eagle Harbor office building. Poor air quality is a contributor to microbial growth.

Soot Damages this Ballroom's Ceiling in St. Johns

This ballroom's drop ceiling was affected by fire and water damage, 25 feet in the air, as a result of faulty display equipment during a trade show. The convention center's first priority was for us to dry them out and save them, even before drying out the carpet and walls.

Roof Leak Causes Mold in East Jacksonville

An unknown roof leak caused mold in this East Jacksonville home off of San Pablo road. SERVPRO of The Beaches/Ponte Vedra removed the affected drywall and treated the attic beams with antimicrobial. 

Storm Damage Causes Mold in Jacksonville Beach Condo

Hurricane Mathew caused wind driven rain to come in around the windows of this Jacksonville Beach condominium. Mold was discovered around the window trim and behind the baseboards. Break-In Causes Water Damage

A break-in at this local residence in Marsh Landing caused a water damage while the owners were out of town. A week later their property manager came in to find the ceilings had collapsed from the weight of the water running upstairs. It's a good thing they called SERVPRO. A fire at this beautiful custom oceanfront residence in Ponte Vedra Beach was caused by a lightning strike. A fire broke out in the attic causing soot and smoke to enter the home. The fire department also caused water damage when they put the fire out. Usually, for this reason when a property has a fire they also experience water damage. Luckily SERVPRO of The Beaches/Ponte Vedra is trained to handle both.

An unknown roof leak caused mold to grow in this residential home on the east side of Jacksonville. SERVPRO of The Beaches/Ponte Vedra was able to treat the affected area with anti-microbial, and replace the drywall, once the roof leak was repaired.

Mold was caused in this utility closet by a burst in the sprinkler line inside the wall. The school initially tried to take care of the problem themselves, resulting in microbial growth.

Electrical Fire at Jacksonville Entertainment Complex

An electrical fire broke out at an East Arlington entertainment complex, heavily damaging the bar area and the roof. We have just begun this commercial restoration and look forward to sharing after pictures here soon.

Hurricane causes Biohazard Damage

During Hurricane Matthew storm drains and sewer systems were compromised, allowing sewage to back-flow into bathrooms and common areas. This is why you should always have a professional remediate after flood waters recede. You never know what you could be exposing yourself to.

Water caused by wind driven rain from Hurricane Matthew came down the walls into the radiology lab of this local Jacksonville Hospital. The moisture in the air caused them to temporarily shut down their equipment for safety purposes. SERVPRO of The Beaches/Ponte Vedra was able to contain the affected rooms, and get the moisture down to safe operating levels within hours, allowing them to safely resume seeing their patients.

Commercial Water Damage

Water from a roof leak associated with Hurricane Matthew came down and saturated the walls in rooms below at this local Jacksonville Hospital. We took special care to remove and dispose of this contaminated drywall safely, will keeping moisture levels low and filtering harmful particles outside.

Mold and moisture can be especially dangerous in a health care environment. We took special care to contain all areas that may have been harmful to the rest of the hospital.

Water Damage at Southside Hospital

Water came in around the roof, caused by wind driven rain from Hurricane Matthew. The moisture in the air caused this local hospital on the Southside of Jacksonville to temporarily shut down their radiology lab. SERVPRO of The Beaches/Ponte Vedra was able to contain the affected rooms, and get the moisture down to safe operating levels within hours, using dehumidification techniques. 

Storm Water from Hurricane Matthew

Ocean water and debris came all the way into the front hall of this local Ponte Vedra Beach Resort. We were able to clean the tile and wood paneling (per the Resort's request) in time for them to re-open the following Saturday.

Storm damage related to Hurricane Matthew in the Sanctuary neighborhood of Jacksonville Beach. Flood water and storm surge can carry contaminants and harmful debris through your home. It is important to dispose of all porous material after it has come in contact with storm water.

Drywall Removal

We removed 4-ft sections of drywall in this storage area of a Ponte Vedra Beach Resort parking lot that was affected by Hurricane Matthew. This will help prevent mold growth and bacteria, as rising flood waters are full of contaminants.

Dehumidification

Water came in around the windows caused by wind-driven rain related to Hurricane Matthew. We contained the moisture and began dehumidification of this Ponte Vedra Beach Resort's dining room over looking the Atlantic Ocean. 

Exhaust and Storm Clean-up

Clean-up related to Hurricane Matthew at a Commercial Resort Property in Ponte Vedra Beach. Harmful chemical fumes had to be exhausted and ducted out of the building before work come begin.
