Fire Hydrant Causes Mud and Flood

A hit and run in the middle of the night caused a fire hydrant to explode, flooding and washing away part of a street. This home was affected by sand, and silt from the water run off. Their entire front yard was flooded and muddy water made it's way into two of the home's bedrooms, and its laundry room.

The 'Before' picture shows the muddy run off in the front yard. The 'After' picture shows the SERVPRO of The Beaches/Ponte Vedra team starting the extraction process.

Our crews were called out in the early hours of Sunday morning, when the homeowner woke up to muddy water flooding into their bedroom.
